A combined Lead Inspection and Risk Assessment can save you time and money. With a LIRA, we can quickly identify any lead-based paint hazards and provide you options to ensure your space is safe for occupancy. A passing LIRA is required by the City of Detroit as part of the necessary documents to receive a Certificate of Compliance.

A Lead Inspection identifies lead-based paint by testing all painted surfaces (windows, walls, doors, siding, etc.) for the purposes of Renovate and Repair (RRP) Rule Compliance.

A Lead Risk Assessment identifies lead-based paint hazards as well as lead hazards in dust and soil.

A Renewal inspection updates a previously performed LIRA to ensure you are in compliance.  

A Lead Clearance is required after all lead hazard control activities have concluded (ie renovation work).
